Terms of Use
Version 0 — Last updated August 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PLATFORM website, mobile application, and the PLATFORM protocol (together, the "Service"). By connecting a wallet or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
PLATFORM is a decentralized, non-custodial protocol built on the Solana blockchain. The Service provides an interface for interacting with on-chain smart contracts that implement a community governance system, including proposals, voting, a treasury, and related mechanisms described in the PLATFORM Constitution.
PLATFORM does not custody your funds, your wallet, or your private keys at any time. All transactions are executed directly between your wallet and the Solana blockchain. We do not have the ability to reverse, cancel, or modify any on-chain transaction.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you, including any restrictions on the use of cryptocurrency or participation in decentralized protocols in your jurisdiction.
The Service is not directed at, and may not be used by, residents of jurisdictions where such use would be unlawful.
3. No Investment Advice
Nothing on the Service, including any documentation, whitepaper, or communication from PLATFORM, constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the risks of any action you take through the Service, including voting, submitting proposals, or interacting with any token associated with the protocol.
4. Risks
Use of the Service involves significant risk, including but not limited to:
- The price and value of any token associated with the protocol may be highly volatile and may lose some or all value.
- Smart contracts, despite testing and review, may contain errors or vulnerabilities.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Errors made by you, including sending funds to an incorrect address, cannot be undone by PLATFORM.
- Regulatory treatment of decentralized protocols and digital assets is uncertain and may change.
You assume full responsibility for these and any other risks associated with your use of the Service.
5. Governance Participation
Participation in governance (including voting, submitting proposals, and any associated rewards or fees) is governed by the on-chain rules defined in the PLATFORM Constitution and implemented in the protocol's smart contracts. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Constitution regarding protocol mechanics, the Constitution and the on-chain program logic govern.
6. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLATFORM AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TOKENS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
